Dad had asked to have today off to visit a mate. I mean really, so hard to find reliable help these days!

Seriously though, it was good to have a break. There were many cups of tea while staring at my wall of Ikea Billy shelving. There may have even been a few deep sighs of satisfaction.

But there was still work to do. I shopped for the next stage and here’s where things get really fun. Remember how I’d said that getting a sliding library ladder was the dream but it would probably have to be phase 2; in other words, way down the track? Well, I think I found an Australian company who sell ladders, and all the hardware, and at half the price of what most other companies are charging. Time to gather the research and get dad to look over it all tomorrow.
