Today involved a trip to Bunnings to buy the benchtops I would use on top of the half height Ikea Billy units. I had thought of getting beautiful hardwood timber, sourcing a long piece from a local supplier, hoping it was straight and flat, cutting it the size, sanding etc. But then found that Bunnings had lengths which were pretty much all done and which were easier to work with as they were in smaller lengths. Thank you.

Other than that, we couldn’t do any work. We still need to use power tools (outside) and it was raining.

Sigh.
